Ever fancied taking up Archery? It is a growing sport which welcomes everyone, all abilities and disabilities, young and old alike.
We offer a short beginner’s course usually in October of each year to get you started in the sport and start you on the road to a fun and enjoyable sport. The course consists of five sessions, of 3 hours each, starting from the very basics of the bows and arrows right
through to shooting at targets in a very short time. We will have you shooting arrows onyour very first day!
We provide all the equipment you need to do the course and advice and help with equipment to get you started if you want to continue. You will be taught by experienced coaches and archers in a safe and fun environment. Our coaches are there to help and support you and answer any questions you may have about archery.
Our club is well established and has archers of all abilities, shooting all types of bows. Our archers have represented Cheshire County and England, but we also have archers who shoot just for the fun of it.
If you want to give it a go, why not sign up for our beginner’s course, drop us a line using the “Contact Us” button and we can send you an applications form. Once we have your completed form our coaching officer will get back to you very quickly with more information about the course details.
Our next beginners course will be starting in September 2024 on Sundays from 10am to 1pm on the following dates, 8, 15, 22, 29 and October 6. Please email our course organiser directly at coaching@ccbarchery.co.uk to express your interest and obtain the appropriate forms. Please note that replies occasionally go to your spam folders so you might need to check that too.
